 Building inspection assists homeowners, contractors and businesses to ensure building projects are constructed in accordance with approved plans and in accordance with applicable local and state regulations. It assists customers in the timely completion of projects by providing after hours and weekend inspections when requested.
Building Inspectors assist homeowners with their building projects by meeting with them at lunchtime and in the late afternoons in addition to regular hours. It provides assistance to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Rehabilitation Program to enhance the quality of life for low-income families.
