Founded February 18, 2003, The Economic Development Commission advises the City Council on business issues and designs, develops, and implements a comprehensive economic development program for
the City of Milpitas. The Commission is composed of nine (9) regular members and two (2) alternate members. Members are appointed to 3 year terms and alternates are appointed to two year
terms. Commission members and alternates need not be Milpitas residents but must represent a business located in Milpitas. The Commission is comprised of one representative from each of the
following organizations and areas:

Commercial Real Estate
Hotels/Accommodations
Milpitas Unified School District
Resident
Residential Real Estate
Restaurants
Retail Business
Technology

Meets: 6:00 p.m. at the City Hall Committee Room, 455 E. Calaveras Blvd. on the 2nd Monday of every month. No meetings during the months of July and December.
