Founded May 21, 1996. The Milpitas Sister Cities Commission (SCC) serves as
an advisory body to the City Council on matters affecting sister cities
relationships, programs, and activities. This Sister Cities Commission will also
review applications for sister city affiliations and forward recommendations to
the City Council for the establishment of future agreements. Members are
appointed to three-year terms and alternates are appointed to two-year terms.
The Milpitas Unified School District also has a non-voting member appointed to
the Commission.

Meets: 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall Committee Room, 455 E. Calaveras Blvd. on the 4th Thursday of every month.
