NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Milpitas City Council has set the hour of 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Milpitas City Hall, 2nd floor, Council Chambers, 455 E. Calaveras Boulevard, Milpitas as the time and place for public hearings on the following topic:
CONSIDER FINDINGS FOR APPROVAL OF AN EXCEPTION TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW PAYMENT OF IN-LIEU FEES – 2001 TAROB COURT (P-SD18-0014, P-UP19-0009, P-MT18-0004, P-EA19-0002): Consider the Findings for Approval of an exception to the requirements of the Affordable Housing Ordinance to allow payment of fees in lieu of providing six affordable units within an approved 40-unit residential condominium project on a 1.22-acre site at 2001 Tarob Court. The Planning Commission recommended (6-0, Chuan absent) that the City Council approve the 40-unit residential condominium project, while the City Council has sole purview over the requested exception to the Affordable Housing Ordinance.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, pursuant to CA Government Code Section 65009, that any challenge of these matters in court may be limited to raising only those issues raised by you or on your behalf at the public hearings described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at – or prior to – these hearings.
