NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Milpitas Planning Commission has set the hour of 7:00 PM,
Wednesday, February 26, 2020, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 455 E. Calaveras Boulevard,
Milpitas, as the time and place for Public Hearing on the following:
ENTERTAINMENT USE – 60 DEMPSEY ROAD – UP19-0008: An application for a
Conditional Use Permit to allow an entertainment facility (Celia’s Event Center) in an existing
15,198-square foot building in the C1 Neighborhood Commercial Zone. This project is exempt from
environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA
Guidelines Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) and, as a separate and independent basis, Section
15183 (Projects Consistent with a Community Plan, General Plan, or Zoning). Project Planner:

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, pursuant to Government Code Sec. 65009, that any challenge
of this application in court may be limited to raising only those issues raised by you or on your
