Candidate Campaign Committee Reports

The City of Milpitas will hold its next municipal election in November this year, as it does in all even numbered years.

On November 6, 2012, Milpitas voters will elect:

Nomination papers to run for office may be issued by the City Clerk during the four week period specified by state law. Filing opens at 8:00 AM on Monday, July 16, 2012 until the deadline of Friday, August 10, 2012 by 5:00 PM. If an incumbent does not file for to run for re-election, then the filing deadline will extend 5 days to Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Those interested in forming a Campaign Committee or Political Action Committee may do so at any time (visit www.fppc.ca.gov). Call the City Clerk at 586-3001 for more information.

In 2012, Milpitas and other Santa Clara County Vote-By-Mail voters are welcome to drop off their voted ballots into a secure ballot box, provided by the County Registrar, in the Milpitas City Clerk's office. Visit the 3rd floor of Milpitas City Hall to drop off your ballot.
