Hazardous Materials Local Codes and Regulations
The Hazardous Materials and Environmental Services Unit enforces portions of the following regulatory codes:
The City of Milpitas has adopted the 2001 California Fire Code with amendments (Milpitas Municipal Code, Title V-Chapter 300). The amendments include the Hazardous Materials Storage Ordinance and Toxic Gas Ordinance requirements and controls.
