Welcome to Recycling & Garbage Services

The City of Milpitas Utility Engineering Section is dedicated to helping Milpitas residents and businesses maintain disposal reduction goals and monitor quality solid waste services. Thanks to you, residential and business recycling works! Your individual efforts add up to a big achievement for Milpitas — a 70% disposal reduction of landfilled materials since 1991. That is great news for our city as we try to offset rising disposal costs.

Please call Republic Residential Customer Service at (408) 432-0444 anytime on Monday – Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., about broken carts, accepted recyclable items and other residential service related questions. Please call Republic Commercial Customer Service at (408) 432-1234 about commercial recycling and garbage service related questions. If you have any further questions, please contact the City of Milpitas at (408) 586-3352.
