Walk with Ease

Walk with Ease is an evidence-based program that has been proven to help people with arthritis reduce pain, increase balance and improve overall health. This 6-week program is led by a certified instructor and includes both classroom activities and walks outside to teach you how to safely make physical activity a part of your everyday life. Goals include reducing the discomfort of arthritis, increasing balance, strength and walking pace, and building confidence to be physically active. Ages 50+.
Better Choices, Better Health

Better Choices, Better Health is a six-week self-management program conducted by The Health Trust for people living with chronic conditions (i.e. high cholesterol, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, depression, or obesity). This program also benefits individuals who care for someone living with chronic conditions. Workshops are fun, interactive, and designed to enhance regular treatment and disease-specific education. Topics include: dealing with problems; appropriate exercise; appropriate use of medications; effective communication; nutrition; and evaluating new treatments. Ages 50+. Register at the Front Desk by February 13. Representatives from the Health Trust will be here on February 2 & 8 from 9:00 AM to Noon to provide more information.
Singing for Seniors

$36 ($46 non-residents)
Learn to sing your favorite nostalgic songs of yesteryear. Taught by Greg Farbizio, former vocal coach of 2011 American Idol Top 10 Thia Megia and Pop Artist Tracy Cruz. Students will learn vocalization exercises, increase vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more. All materials included, just bring your voice!!!
