Agendas & MinutesFounded July 20, 1954. The Community Advisory Commission (CAC) serves as an advisory body on matters affecting Milpitas citizens, especially those relating to community improvement. The CAC evaluates and makes recommendations to the City Council on diverse issues including City-wide Beautification, which includes community and neighborhood clean-ups and reviewing issues related to neighborhood abatement.
The CAC makes a recommendation to the Council regarding Community Development Block Grant funding. The Commission consists of seven members and two alternates. Members are appointed to three-year terms and alternates are appointed to two-year terms.

Statement of Economic Interest:
FPPC Form 700 – Statement of Economic Interest is required to be filed by all CAC members to reveal any conflict of interest.

The Community Advisory Commission shall hold meetings the 1st Wednesday of every month except July, at 7:00 PM at the Committee Conference Room in City Hall, or another designated location.
