Recycling is good for the economy, the environment and you. Trashing recyclable material is a waste of natural resources, a waste of energy and awaste of money.
The California Refund Value (CRV) is the amount paid by consumers at the checkout stand. It is paid back when you recycle eligible beverage containers at certified recycling centers. The minimum CRV refund value is 5 cents for each container under 24 ounces and 10 cents for each container 24 ounces or greater. CRV eligible containers have "CA CASH REFUND" or "CA CRV" markings.
